A Blessed and Blissful Birthday!

It’s a very meaningful and unexpected day for me. I feel blessed and blissful with all the beautiful messages, especially the one from my dad & wishes both ex-bosses; the heartwarming calls from my lovely friends from Malaysia & overseas, the “unsurprised” birthday cake from my dearest colleagues and a wonderful dinner and precious present from my beloved. 🙂

Why I said it was an “unsurprised” birthday cake? Actually my colleagues would like to surprise me and preparing the cake at the admin office room. However, everything was spoilt at the moment I was stepping in the room to take my document. And the last thing I heard is “Who ask you to come in? Nobody ask you to come in and why you coming in?” haha…

After work, i was meeting my sick man for a simple dinner. He is really sick but I guess he  doesn’t want to disappoint me and therefore no matter how still trying to arrange a dinner for my birthday. 🙂

A very cozy and romantic fine dining restaurant at The Equinox, level 70 at Swiss Hotel (beside Raffles City). You can have a glance of the Singapore City landscape from this high angle decorated with the shining and beautiful lighting in the evening.

I went here for a high tea before. It’s a buffet style high tea with some live cooking station. However, compare with day time, the evening view for sure is much more better.20120705-185440.jpg

We ordered a “3 Course Tasting Menu” By Chef Lee Bennett, can’t eat to much as the poor man was not feeling well.

I only managed to take the main course photo. I have ordered the “Pavé of Salmon with Ratte Potato, Beetroot, Marinated Black Olive and Frisée Salad, Basil Pesto Pouilly-Fuisse “Tradition”, Domaine Thibert, France“, and he has ordered the “Braised Beef Shoulder with Smoked Pomme Purée, Creamed Savoy Cabbage, Glazed Root Vegetables and Bourguignon Sauce Cape Mentelle Shiraz, Australia“. The dishes from the kitchen are well presented and tasty, the skill of the Chef is certainly very good. Slurp!

A birthday surprise after the last course dessert. It’s their in house homemade Chocolate Truffle Cake with a ‘Happy Birthday’ wordings, simply nice. The cake is really delicious with a strong and smooth chocolate taste! Awesome!

Last but not least, my precious present from my dear, “Seiko 5 Automatic Sport Dive Watch” and it’s my favorite colour! I love it so much and I would like to say, thanks for everything and the arrangement! I have a complete and wonderful day with the sweet ending!

Oh ya, I think I have missed out something…Thanks for all my Facebook friends and all the lovely wishes! My phone has been super hardworking and busy from morning until the last minutes of my birthday! You all have given me a fulfilling and blessing day! ^^
